the origins
I'm Louis, and the story of Fidem began during a trip to the United States. There, while meeting local Christian communities, I was struck by the uninhibited way young people expressed their faith. They proudly wore Christian t-shirts adorned with Bible verses and powerful designs.
In talking with them, I discovered that in the United States, several Christian brands offer clothing that allows young people to claim their faith without fear, not from a communitarian perspective, but in a true spirit of evangelization through style. Their confidence and radiance left a deep impression on me.
It was this realization that gave birth to the idea of Fidem in me: a brand to enable young people in France to carry the good news and display their faith with pride and authenticity.
The Revelation
It was during the World Youth Day (WYD) in Lisbon that the idea for Fidem truly came to life. I saw young people proudly wearing customized t-shirts with inspiring designs that they had created themselves. The enthusiasm was real: many sought to get their hands on these t-shirts before leaving, a testament to a genuine desire to boldly wear their faith.
At that moment, I understood that in France too, young people were looking for ways to express their faith visibly and modernly. The idea sown in the United States had never left me, but it was in Lisbon that the decision became clear: Fidem had to be created to meet this need and offer Christian youth clothing that matched their spiritual commitment.
Achievement
In September 2024, I decided to bring Fidem to life. I was quickly joined by Florian and then Brieuc, two friends with complementary skills. Together, we wanted to launch a brand capable of offering inspiring Christian T-shirts, to help young people proudly display their faith.
Our adventure was born from a common desire: to create a committed, meaningful brand that allows everyone to live their faith authentically. Each of us brings our strengths: strategy, creativity, or logistics. And behind every powerful visual is Mathilde, our designer, who creates Fidem designs and brings our Christian T-shirts and stickers to life.
Our motto is simple: “Faith uplifts us; we uplift it by wearing it.” It is this deep conviction that guides every choice and every collection we passionately create.
